| So folks, I'm headed home and want to buy a new imac (desktop) when I get there, and have a macbook that I need to unload. Its a year and a half old, has the original boot discs and currently has MS Office on it as well as Titanium Toast (DVD/CD burning software). Of course it comes with the standard iphoto, imovie, idvd programs. HD 100gigs, 1 gig of RAM, enough room for another gig if you want to upgrade the RAM. Processor speed is i THINK 2.1, but I'll double check when I get home. Best Offer. |

What exactly do you mean by this? If you didn't mean to do it was it an accident? Or did someone force you into it?
I mean, come on. Sure you meant to do it. It's one thing to lowball, it's quite another to pretend you didn't. And then go ahead and make a second lowball.

Did you ever confirm the processor speed on this thing, OP? I think we need some hyper detailed specs for this thing if you want to sell... unless you already did, then disregard.
Is it this? http://www.macworld.com/product/hardware/139/detail.html It says it has no super drive but you said yours does... don't know. |

| Hey guys, yeah its a 2gig processor, i remember I was pissed because I bought it and then a month later the 2.1 processor with the dual layer drive came out. By then I was in Korea and not Japan so I was SOL...sorry I didn't reply sooner, been swamped with trying to organize my shiatsu to take back home! |

The super drive was present when the 2.0 ghz model was the top of the line. I think now if you get the 2.0 ghz model it doesn't include the superdrive. I have the same model as the OP. By the way, I would agree that the OP's asking price is pretty good, and if I didn't have one already I would pick this one up. |
