Does anyone pay bills back home online through their Korean bank account? For example, I want to fund an online brokerage account(which can be done through a bill payment feature) but use my Shinhan or KB account. I'm hoping an online account would allow me to do this. Can the websites be in English?

Help always appreciated.

Perhaps the easiest solution is paypal. You can link your Korean bank account to your paypal account.

Instructions here:

http://gtdone.tistory.com/entry/Transfer-your-PayPal-balance-to-a-Korean-bank-account

You will need your banks' transit number, etc.

Once the funds are in your paypal, you can distribute them to any service you wish.

I had an online KB account that was in English, if memory serves I was able to make overseas payments though was limited to a max of 1,000,000 per day.

I don't think this works. The article is dated 2004. Anyone get this to work?

It works. When you click "withdraw" on your Paypal account, you will see a hyperlink to "add a bank". On the drop down menu of countries, select "South Korea". You will need to get the transit number and all, though.

If anyone knows KB's transit number can they post it, Please?

How do you past the ARC number issue? Everytime I enter in my ARC, it doesn't recognize it.

Yes I would like to know too. I want to be able to add money to a paypal account via a Korean bank account. I do not really want to withdraw money to the Korean account. If anybody has done this please do tell. Also I do not want to use a credit card as I have none.
