|
|
Hi,
I'm in need of a rubber-strap wrench (don't ask), which I doubt Homeplus or Costco has (but I'm gonna try my luck tomorrow anyways).. and I was wondering if any helpful people out there know of any decent hardware stores in Daegu?! I'm in Susong-Gu, and surely there is one around somewhere. I've asked Korean coworkers, but they don't seem to know of any....
PLEASE!? |

about 3 blocks south of the baseball stadium downtown there is a sting of hardware stores...loads of stuff...be damned if they are open today, being Chusok Saturday.
Good luck. |

Yes, 'Tool Street' What a mess.
Info:
Tool street
People started to collect and sell disposed tools from the American Force at the entrance street of InKyo-dong Dalseong park in 1947 when no Korean tools were produced. In 1950, the number of stores became 23. Now, there are 500 stores due to continued development of machine industry.

just a suggestion... bring a nice pic of the tool you want... when i've done this in the past, i spent a total of 5 mins at tool street... the shop owner didn't have it, but walked me over to another shop that did... it's a lot easier than looking for it yourself, or trying to play charades with the shop owner... good luck... |
