About an hour in to work on Monday morning, my coworker came up to me with a worried look on his face. He mentioned that he messed up and is going to get in trouble. I thought that perhaps he forgot to cover something in the lesson or some other minor thing, anyway. Nope.

It turns out that it was his birthday over the weekend. He was showing the kindergarten students some pictures on his camera. He didn't bother to look first. So what did the little kids see? Naked drunk pictures of their teacher. (I don't know about all of you, but when I get drunk, I don't feel the need to take naked pictures of myself, but that's just me.)

So the other teachers found out and were obviously shocked. The parents were informed, and then guess what happened. Nothing! This incident happened about three months ago. Since then, my coworker finished up his contract and left.

Ugh, I hate it when I actually meet foreigners who reinforce negative stereotypes.

And you just suddenly thought of complaining about it today?

Yeah..I know how you feel...

My birthday was on Saturday, and I was expecting a car from my parents, but all I got was a stupid word processor....

This incident happened 13 years ago, but ugh...I hate it when I don't get the presents I expect for my birthday.

Well, now that he left the country, sure, I don't mind posting about it.

This incident happened about two weeks into my contract. I barely knew him. I just figured he was a clueless guy who made a stupid mistake. But after knowing him more, I realized how much of a sociopath he is.

It really happened? Then he did a runner?

Well, sometimes truth is stranger than fiction when it comes to bad teachers and some social situations in Korea.

This stuff happens from time to time......... big freakin dreal! Ooops, some kids inadvertantly saw a pic of their teacher naked...get over it...that's life.

A couple of weeks ago,my student was showing me pics on his laptop of his vacation.Everything was going well until about 20 pics in when I saw a picture of his wife naked in their hotel room.

It's a good thing she's hot!

He didn't edit his pics before showing and I saw his wife's *ussy but no big deal,I pretended not to notice and turned away form his comp while he did some editing.

We just kind of laughed it off.

He's saying the guy did it on purpose. That's his point - I think.

Oreo - are you saying the guy is a perv and deserves to go prison even though you pointed out he is no longer in the country? Please tell me he wasn't Canadian.

He didn't do it on purpose. He's just clueless and careless.

My point? I just think that it's odd that you have different extremes. You have teachers getting fired or threatened to get fired over little things, and then you have this situation: a teacher who accidentally shows naked pictures of himself to six-year olds and nothing happens. Plus, I'm ranting.

This guy was just an embarrassment.

1. Constantly cheating on his girlfriend and wanting coworkers to help with alibis.
2. Frightening a third grader who's moving to Iran. "Oh, you're going to get blown up by terrorists. Ha-ha!"
3. (And my favorite) Leaving a few used condoms on the floor of his apartment, after moving out.

Don't worry. He's not a Canadian.
