| bottom line is: if you want to spite spliff, teach him a lesson... then don't sell to him. don't take his money and then try to prove a point... not cool at all. |

We seemed to have missed a fundamental point here:
Being a "douche" on internet forums, while annoying, is not illegal.
Bait and switch tactics, or simply refusing to deliver goods that have been paid for, are illegal acts, punishable under U.S. and Korean law and, incidentally, examples of the few actions that will get you banned from ESLcafe. |

Why is that? I've never been anything but honest and aboveboard when dealing with transactions on this board. I would never consider robbing someone...it's beyond comprehension. My parents did not bring me up in such a fashion. If inukshuck does finally cough up the books then better for everyone. Still, I don't appreciate paying good money to a fellow poster out of trust and then being robbed and abused on the telephone. There is simply no excuse for it. Really, I would never have expected this and quite frankly...I am shocked by his behavior. |

Received a text message from inukshuk today saying that he will only send me my books if I write a half page letter to him apologizing for messing w/ people online and calling him a name... 
Perhaps I should apologize for being ripped off as well. |

If he had mentioned the above conditions BEFORE taking your money then he would be within his right, but to do this AFTER taking your money is totally unacceptable. |

| Did the guy have a return postal address? Go pay him a visit. Back home, if I paid money, and the guy didn't deliver the goods, I'd get a few boys over to their house and "rectify" the situation so that it doesn't happen again. |
