He drinks beer after working out! At least that's the idea I got from his latest Hite commercial. What the hell is that about? Falls in line with the majority of adverts we see here though... Total quality! Laughing

He's become a big deal here among fans of MMA recently. When he's fought in Korea, at the end of the match he's said '대한민국, 최고!' [Korea is the best!] But before that, after a fight in Japan, he said 日本、最高! [Japan is the best!] What's his deal? Isn't he a Japanese citizen? (Was that to avoid military service here)? The last time I watched him fight, the Japanese crowd was booing him. I understand that he's 4th generation Korean born in Japan, and wears both flags on his gi, probably to show his pride in both places... But I thought he'd be a little more sensitive to the fact that the countries don't like each other before tellling each crowd they're the best...

Has Dennis Kang done anything of note to be even nicknamed "Super Korean". Any name opponents? Anything?

Kang has beaten every Korean opponent he's faced, I suppose that would make him "super"... He did have a few knockouts against other guys that were right after the bell sounded, the best guy he's beaten is probably Murilo Rua.
Some of his recent fights have been against good fighters [Mousasi, Akiyama and Misaki] and he lost to those guys. He also lost a fight to Kaoklai Kaennorsing a few years ago. Now that little guy is super, anybody see his fight against Choi Hong Man?

So, done nothing then? Figured. Otherwise he'd be in UFC, (Pride,) or hell, even WEC.
