My Dad's coming to visit in October and we're going to go to Jeju Island for 4 or 5 days. I'm planning to go scuba diving and hike Hallasan, both of which he won't want to do. He'd much rather go golfing I'm sure, so does anyone know of any reasonably priced golf courses there? What kind of money would he be looking at for green fees and rental clubs?

Thanks

Expect to drop at least 500,000 per head. Unless you know someone who "knows someone," you ain't getting any course at this time of year.

Are you serious? It's that expensive to go golfing in Korea? I can golf in America for as little as $20 for 18 holes and with a cart for $40 to $100.

I guess that's why there's many driving cages in Korea. It's that cheap even in places like Florida!!! Even lovely Miami Springs.

Tell your dad to visit the USA for golf.

Land is obviously not a commodity in Korea.

lol at 500,000 won a head... Just because there is one course ranked in the top 50 in the world ( Nine Bridges, I think ) that charges that much doesn't mean they all do. If you stay at Hyatt Regency, there is a course there that I think you can play for around 150,000 a person. Just google golf in Jeju and you should get good info.
