hey, does anyone know when they start posting winter camp positions? i'm eager to do a winter camp this winter, but i can't find any job listings anywhere. is it just too early, or am i looking in the wrong places? thanks! |

Yep, too early. I asked the lady who runs our camps and she just said, "I'll tell you if and when I need you." I enjoyed teaching Summer camps as it had a structured program and extracurricular activities with adequate resources. We had fun with it as well as getting paid well for it too.
I bet there will be fewer camp jobs next season as the number of EPIK teachers just went up significantly who will be teaching those camps. They're probably going to start many new camps now that EPIK has many teachers since the number of camps offered this past Summer didn't need all the teachers. I volunteered for them and made lots of extra money. I hope to do that again this Winter and next Summer. |
