Everest in Dongdaemun serves Nepalese and Tibetan food.
Take exit three of Dongdaemun station and turn left at the alley between the bank and the pharmacy. Walk down the alley and you'll see it on the second floor of a building on your right.
Don't go on a Saturday night because the lineup extends down the stairs and past the door. You can wait as long as an hour for a table. Weeknights or lunchtime on Saturday is better. |

I usually get the mutton curry, garlic naan, and a samosa. It's very good and fills me up for under 15,000 won. I like almost everything on the menu except the dishes that are just barbequed meat; I like some kind of sauce so the curry dishes usually do the trick.
Just talking about it makes me want to go again... yum! |

The standard Everest meal for my wife and me (after eating lots of different things on the menu, and never being disappointed):
Mango lassi
Coke
Samosas
Two orders of butter naan
Chicken Tikka
Palak paneer
Two cups of masala chai
30000 won, and worth every penny. |
