I LIKE korea. Sure, it sucks, as does every place else, but I stay here despite being able to earn more back in the US. Whatever the market will bear. Forget about what the price a loaf of bread "should" be. |

All I can say is that the moron teacher in that blog should have done his homework. The first indication that something is wrong should have been the fact that he was working illegally. One cannot work on a tourist visa in Thailand. The idiot was going to call the police. That would have made the story interesting. |

Yeah, that would have been interesting. If he would have slipped the immi cops a bribe, maybe all would have been well, though.
From what I've been told, one would not want to tangle with Thailand immigration. Maybe it's like this here as well, but when they come to get you in Thai-ville, they take you to the lock-up, book you, and then take you directly to the airport. No stops to say goodbye. No stops at the bank to get your money out. No grabbing your things from your pad. You get put on a plane and away you go, never to return. I wonder if SK does this as well? |
