There's one in Apgujong....bloddy incredible! It's American style, with generous portions (altough a little pricey).
I can't remember the name right now. Can anyone help me out. |

It's a little up an alley behind where California Fitness used to be, before they closed down. There's also a Starbucks there where people like to sit around outside and pretend to look cool. Near the Hak-dong intersection. |

I was in Apgujong this weekend and passed by a all-day brunch house.. don't know if this was the one. It kind of looked American style, but there was no bacon with anything! Also, they were charging 15,000W for eggs...
If anyone is thinking of opening a business in Korea, open an all-day breakfast house in Itaewon goddamnit! If you set reasonable prices I think it would clean up. Just make sure it has crispy bacon and texas toast! |

the wolfhound irish pub has an all day breakfast called "the whole shebang".
their regular breakfast is decent with eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, fried tomato, toast and coffee or tea
but the whole shebang is the shit with extra eggs, extra bacon, extra sausages, extra beans, extra toast, fried tomato and a coffee with a shot of jameson whiskey in it for 12,500 won.

Best breakfast while getting ready for work:
Fill a pan half full of water and set it on the stove on high. While the water is boiling, break 3 eggs into a zip lock baggie, toss in some chopped up slices of ham lunch meat or real ham from a Costco ham steak, some garlic, bell pepper, onion, some cheese, a handful of mushrooms from the can in refrigerator, a bit of salt and pepper. Zip it closed and squish everything around.
Squeeze the air out and zip the bag closed. By now the water should be boiling. Drop the bag in the water and turn down the gas.
Go take your shower. When you come out your breakfast will be ready.
Just plop it on a plate, dump some salsa on and chow down while checking out if there is anything new here at Dave's. No muss, very little fuss. |
Just health concern, I would not be putting a plastic Ziploc in boiling water or even hot water. Without sounding like an health nutter, the plastic from most plastic containers and bags will leach a surprising amount of carcinogens (spellin?) into your food. That's why water bottles and other disposible platics ought to be recycled and not re-used. Even Nalgene is being targeted for health concers and they've always boasted about being safe. I would try another method instead of the Ziploc. With cancer problems on the rise, one major player is the amount of plastic being absorbed into our bodies...anyway, just concerned |
