|
|
I have a foot/heel injury and I go to the 'special' doctor. I'm supposed to get daily 'therapy' that isn't doing squat.
Every day I'm supposed to go, and rather than just giving me my card to go to the therapy clinic, the Dr has to see me, which means I have to wait around.
Every time they want to give me an injection in my butt/hip.
WHY? What is the injection? Does anyone know? Keep in mind that this is a clinic/doctor for bone, tendon etc injuries.
If it's cortisone why aren't they putting it in the location of the injury?
Any insight and info would be appreciated.
(and I wont even begin to ask why they keep giving me a prescription for 12 pills a day, when I essentially have tendinitis.) |

I've never actually seen a helpful or good post by you on this board, and the pattern is still intact.
FTR: the doctor's english consists of the parts of the body and the word injection, which is why I'm posting here. |

Must NOT be a "happy" shot, then. |

I had some cuts on my feet a while back and was given a tetanus shot in the bum. That should only happen once though. I also had a bit of a heat rash so they were giving me daily shots of benadryl.
Could be anything man....I wouldn't worry about it. |

Antibiotics shot most likely. They probably are aware that you refused the last time/every time and just want to offer it again.
FWIW I had an infection recently and the shot (I ended up having 2) is to speed things up. They usually supplement the shot with pills for three to five days.

Looks like they are trying to give you cortisone. Three shots or more of that stuff in the same area can actually waste away parts of your joint.
Why not go see a western chiropractor or a physio? |

Truth is, they could be giving him a simple vitamin shot. Unless the OP asks the DR. or has him write it down, he has NO idea what it is.
Be carefull here. I f u have any allergies tell the DR. and make sure he writes it in ur file and ALWAYS make sure u know fully what they are jabbing u with before they jab u. |

You're right. I think I'm going to save a screenshot so if someone in the future says he's NEVER been helpful, I can.... |

Injection in the butt is going to be a painkiller, most likely....
Does your butt feel slightly numb after? |

It was most likely a supplement to assist in the in the paying off of his new Mercedes.
Seriously, has anyone here ever heard a Korean doc ask, prior to writing out a prescription, the following:
1) Are you allergic to any medications?
2) Are you currently taking any medication?
and (for the women)
3) Are you, or could you be, pregnant?
The pre-dive paperwork that my dive students fill out is more thorough than most Korean doctors. |
