I've seen low-fat milk, but can't find non-fat. I'd kill for this. Is it available here?
If there's no non-fat milk, a non-fat whey protein supplement or something like that would be great. I've never used supplements but would go to that if there's no non-fat milk. |

Not to be annoying, but fat free milk? Doesn't that taste like water? |

Yes, there is. Look for the jug with the blue label and "지방제로"
지방 = fat
제로 = zero |

Look in the baby formula section of the store. They have powdered non-fat milk as well. |

Sorry to take this off-topic
Non-fat milk in the baby formula section? I really hope that's just poor marketing or planning and not someone's idea of infant nutrition. Hmmm, this brings up an idea for a new thread. |

Thank you. As for the guy who think non-fat milk tastes crappy. I kinda agree
However, I just got a great weight lifting book "Starting Strength" (if you are into weight lifting check it out, it's SO helpful and very detailed). Anyway, the guy advocates drinking 1 gallon of milk a day. Even if you're drinking low fat, that adds up to a lot of saturated fat. |

I know of two brands of non-fat milk in Korea. They both say it on them in english. One is by Denmark and comes in a pink and white carton, the other I don't remember the brand, but comes in a plastic bottle with a purple lid and label. I always found Denmark at Homever and the other at E-mart. |

I used to say that, too... before I actually tried it. Now anything over 1% feels like I'm drinking a cup of fat. |

I believe Fat-Free Milk is usually referred to as 무지방 우유 here in the Land of the Morning Soju Hangover. I buy it all the time at the supermarket near my house. |

Seoul Milk has 1% but only in the one litre square shaped carton (screw lid) and there is a milk by another company with no fat, I forget the name but it has a big MBP (i think) on the carton and it's really good.
All other low fat milk can range from 1-4% and normal milk is over 4%. |

John McCallum put this idea forward long before Mark Rippetoe did. The program was called squats and milk. Two key elements of the program were that you perform a full-body workout, based on 20-rep squats, three times a week, and drink drink a gallon of whole milk a day. I wouldn't be so worried about the fat, but the lactose. It might work for a 16-y-o, but at the age of 32, I think that amount of lactose would have me glued to the toilet. |

Yeah, they have it here. Near me, Emart almost always has it and Homever sometimes does. The Denmark Milk brand comes in thin cardboard cartons that are white with pink print. Seoul Milk (I think) comes in thin, round plastic bottles with a pink label. There's also one that comes in a squarish plastic carton with a blue label. |

The price of milk jumped from 2100 to 2600 at the Family Mart down the street today.
I've decided not to purchase anything from them now. They've lost my business. That's insane. |

How much milk? My local mark is 1800 for 1 liter, if i go to the local homeplus it's 2.300 for 1.8 liters.
I buy a few 1.8 and freeze them until needed....
How about cream? Can anyone get single or double cream anywhere? Not the sweetened stuff just plain cream? |
