There's a small convienence store across from the Hamelton Hotel and right beside a Baskin Robbins that sell it.

1000 won per can I believe.

They used to sell it in bulk at Costco, but not anymore.

In bottles? *shrug*

In cans you can find Canada Dry gingerale at several places I recall, though by name the only place I remember exactly is the supermarket above the island highway in Okpo on Geoje Island, just south of Busan. They have consistently carried it since 2002. I was just there last week, they still do.

The cans are made here, have English on one side and Korean on the other, and the Canada DRY symbol. Sure enough, is exactly the same as back home.

Being a Michigan boy, I grew up on Vernors. Yeah, it would be great to have it here.

Haven't seen any giner ale, but I use the Chojung sparkling carbonated water you can get at Emart and Homeplus stores and then squeeze lemons into it for a Scotch mixer. The only downside is it comes in plastic bottles instead of glass like Perrier does.

I'm currently in Banff. Anyone know where I can get a bottle of Jinro soju?

I'm willing to travel to Manitoba if need be. This place sucks.

Most Vancouver gov't liquor stores carry it. About 10 bucks a bottle. Shocked

Or you could approach a cute Korean tourist and ask her. Wink

Yeah, it's really a shame Vernors isn't more popular. I was born and raised in Hawaii but when to college in Illinois. My roommate introduced me to Vernors and then I was hooked.
