My friend is looking into moving to Korea, and he's currently going through the usual preparation process of getting his documents together. He told me that he is required to have a vulnerable sector screen report along with a criminal record report. Have any of you heard about this before? I thought that having a criminal record check was all that was required. Firstlly is this true, and secondly is this something that may only apply to people who haven't been in Korea before? Please help me out.

For Canadians it's just another box to tick on the same form. It just means that in addition to having no record or outstanding charges, one has never been charged with a crime against a minor.
