(This thread was originally titled~ Looking to buy a portable vertical steam iron)
Looking to buy a steam iron. The kind you use on clothes while they are hanging down.
I'm in Seoul.
PM me if you have one that you would like to sell.
Thanks.

My wife and I have one that's a hand-held one I brought back with me from the USA. Paid $40 for it, if memory serves. 30,000 won and it's yours. It was used twice. Problem is, it's 110v. |

It sounds great and the offer is appreciated, but we really want a 220v one. We travel alot and would not want to carry a 110-220 transformer?? with us.
Cheers! |

I saw a steam iron recently in the bargain supermarket near me; I'll check it out next time I'm there. Are they the ones that just give out steam - you don't press them against the clothes? |

15,000
I could mail it to you if you want, but I'd say from Busan that would be an extra few 1000. |

Thanks, but please hold on for the time being. I'll get back to you about it later. Will see if I can find something in Seoul.
BTW, what's the make and model?
Also, what are they called~ you use them on clothes while they're hanging~ mostly steam - taking out wrinkles?
Cheers! |

It's a Nikko, made in Korea...I forget the other details because between here and getting to the PC Bang my memory has sprung a leak. As you don't seem to be in a hurry, I'll look it up sometime over the next week. |
