Some of you here said that korean girls are materialistic and said that negative way.

Age 22, when most my friends were thinking about marriage/career with Chabul companies, I decided to go Saudi Arabia. The main reason I decided to go Saudi Arabia was money, it was nothing to do with culture..etc ( I already knew they have terrible culture ).
I am a licensed professional and could make $ 75,000 a year in Saudi and could save almost $ 70,000 a year ( We were provided free house, free utility and free company car/driver ) and during I stay there I've traveled Barain, Egypt and Turkey.

There was no life for single foreign women, women can't drive, we couldn't go out individually ( we had to go out as a group even through we need to buy a bundle of green onion ), no bars, no wine/no alcohol ( Religious police regulalry visited male foreign worker's house to inspect if they are making wine at home ), no church ( we had underground church ).

I've married to an American guy who was making $ 250 a hour ( He was licensed professional ). I've dated several times in my life, somehow I've never dated with a poor guy/or high school graduates, not that I try not to do, but somehow it was always guys who were well educated with solid financial background I dated with.

I am not living in Las Vegas, but I am a regular client of one of biggest casinos in Las Vegas ( my cousin works at there ), I am an excellent poker player, once I've won $ 1.2 million during 18 months period, it require 5% of skill with 95 % of luck and somehow I had that good luck.

These days I don't play much because it seems the luck doesn't work with me any more, still I won 3 times $ 25,000 this year alone ( total $ 75,000 )and several hundreds many times and several thousands a few times.
I am an intensive competitor, this nature sometimes bring good things, but sometimes bring not so good things, a few times I've played 72 hours straight without any sleep ( 2 meals during 72 hours ) Laughing and one time I was so sick the staffs at casino had to call embulance Wink

I am a youngest of 5 children, even my brothers/sisters sometimes like Rolling Eyes about me. When I told my mom that I am going to bring an America guy to introduce, she said " I don't know why, somehow I always thought you are going to bring white boy " Laughing
It was a great marriage and my parent loved him more than me in some way.

Materialistic ? I am not sure, but I was somewhat different.

I'm just glad my Mom stayed home to take care of me when I was young, instead of traveling to Vegas to play poker like an addict.
Materialism is the least of your concerns.

By the way, you forgot to mention the old rich guy you were dating for his money.

Didn't know trolling paid so well, or that there was a license for such activity.

Hmmm...learn something new every day.

yeeehah! What a great story! Although it's as pointless as any other story by any Dave's goon, because all of us are irrelevant and moreso the little stories we can spin about ourselves.

Your concern was honestly once my concern too, that's why I am not visiting Las Vegas like I used to, also I am working 4 days a week now, I have no time to visit Las Vegas these days.

To go Saudi Arabia was revolutionary way of thinking at the time for young female, I had chance to go another countries ( better than Saudi ), but Saudi Arabia offered most money than any another countries. We were provided free house/free food/free utility/free company car/driver and the only thing I had to spend my money was for restaurants and buy stuffs for korean food.

I was only a Korean and there was a Philippino girl, but the rest were American/British. When I look back, it's like " WOW, how I decided to go there ? " I am glad I did.

What are you licensed for?? Not to sound skeptical but at age 22 (Korean age?) you went to Saudi. If your an Accountant you had to get your masters and take CPA and usually you need yo work for an auditing firm.

My sister works for Exxon/Mobil in HR (Global Reorganization) and she told me unless you have a specific skill they are not going to send a inexperienced accountant over. They will however send field engineers and welders and robotic engineers and stuff like that. So did you go to graduate school??? What are you licensed in?
