This is probably a stupid question. Why is it that pine trees in America are cone-shaped, and Korean pine trees are just regular-tree shaped? Do they have to prune them to make them that way? Can I get pine trees like that in America if I want? |

I know zilch about trees (other than hitting them on my mountain bike) but I should say that most of the pine trees I saw out West on Colorado, Utah, washington, and Cali really looked more like the trees here. In the Midwest they seemed more X-mas like.
The pine trees here really remind me of some great places and rides in the States and bring a sense of calm. When we move back it's a straight line to the Western states for us. |

There is more than one species of pine tree in the world, right? |

This is my favourite question asked on here. It's so random. |
