I got an email from a saxophonist that found me on facebook letting me know his combo will be here on a layover to a japanese jazz fest on October 10th. Anyone know of any club owners or jazz venues that he might be able to get in contact with in order to book a show? He's got a pretty good schedule listed on his website, and I took a listen to his jams (I'm a jazz saxophonist of 12 years, too) and he's worth the listen. Can anyone point this guy in the right direction? I'd love to hear some good jazz...

not sure how often she checks in here, but try sending kitekid a pm. her husband is pretty involved in the jazz scene there, and if she can't help you, she can probably direct you to someone who can.

Wasn't there someone on this site recently saying he's booking for a club somewhere around Bupyeong, and he was looking for bands?

Thanks guys. The owner of rhythm and booze was on here a while back to, but I couldn't find him through the search function. I'll pass along the band's info to kitekid and hope it makes it to her hubby.
