So today I went into SC Itaewon to open an account. I went because I read recently of a poster who was able to get an international ATM card there.
I was dealing with a Miss Lee Eun Hye. Everything was going well until I asked about an international ATM card. She, and the mannish, linebacker manageress backing her up both said that I could only have an international ATM card after my work had deposited into the account for at least 6 months.
I asked, "Is this bank policy or government policy?"
Miss Lee Eun Hye, employee # 79XXXX(X) said, "Government policy."
I told her I knew it wasn't true and left.
Good grief. My opinion of Korea and Koreans drops just a little bit more every single day. |

See, that's the thing. If they discriminated against EVERY foreigner the same way, for some reason, I would be less bothered. However, going by your avatar, I have just about as much hair, maybe don't look quite as creepy, but for sure not as handsome.....but you got one and I didn't. Go figure. You must be able to lick your eyebrows or something. |
