I was thinking about going full time grad in Korea next year...
Does anyone know how difficult this is for a foreigner (I am on F4 if that matters) and if the process is as crappy as coming to teach in Korea?
How much do you think the tuition will come to?
Lastly, are English led classes readily available?
I want to pursue either something in Education or follow my long time ambition (and hobby) and try music production
I'll be grateful for any first hand (even 2nd hand) experience or a link to somewhere that can help me~ |

When I was at Sogang, there were some people who were studying economics in the graduate school, and they said all of their classes were taught in English, so I imagine the education classes are in English.
Here's the website for all the grad programs:

You could do either a departmental degree or a degree through a Graduate School of International Studies. THere are a few schools, but off the top of my head, the big ones are:
Yonsei
Korea
SNU
Sogang
Ewha
Depends on what major you want to pursue.
A quick search should get you tuition fees and details. With an F4, you can pretty much do whatever you want here work and school-wise. |

If you're going to pursue education, do an online degree. |

Relatively easy. Diploma and transcripts, no CRC or health check, but you do need a financial statement.

Tuition and fees 1,800,000 at a national university.

Depends on the area of study. If you are studying TESOL or business, maybe. |

Pretty easy to get in (no GRE) and also cheap. There are also lots of grants available from the Korean government, individual Universities and other institutions. I know people who study for pretty much free and they don't have outstanding academic records.
If you have the time, go for it. |

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I have a lot of options for education, but music production...well it's not really a readily available study. There is this one school, but it's just an undergrad program.
Still got time left, I'll see what happens... |
