Why don't you Spliff it with real proof that you can get this in Korea for this price?

I actually respect when Spliff gives reference to prices with sites offering those said prices as opposed to random Spliffing.

I welcome anyone (including you Join Me) to provide a link for something comparable at this price range in Korea. Let's keep in mind that everything on the laptop offered is in English (OS, Office, blah..blah). I will reconsider asking price given those links. Thanks for looking Very Happy .

I think you misinterpreted my post. In light of Spliffy's recent woes, I am just wondering if he will be as quick to jump all over people now. Maybe he is out to dinner. Laughing

I have no idea what your laptop is worth but I have an HP myself which I bought a year ago and I love it. Great laptops.

Actually HP offers English if you buy from an authorized dealer and has been since my first stint in Korea 3 years ago.

I would prefer a laptop that had Korean letters. It is possible to change all the menu's to English (except the start menu).

I'd say 1Mil is a bit too high, but an ok price for a relatively new comp in Korea. The one thing that would deter me from paying that much is the video card. For a hundred or so more, you can get a notebook with a dedicated video card. Also, memory isn't that important since you can get memory for around 20,000 per gig in yongsan.

Here's a comp you can get for 1,170,000 that has a geforce 8600.

http://dellstore04.sg.dell.com/public/cart/pb_cart.jsp?frompage=content&prd_id=40957&uvst=009029584283503866

You can get some pretty good deals in Yongsan. Right now, I have one of these http://www.shoptoshiba.co.kr/goods/content.asp?num=52394&big=18&middle=1&small=6

with an extra gig of ram and the hd2600 with 512 dedicated. It cost 1.3 for the whole package.

To answer a couple of replies:

No, it doesn't have Hangeul on the keyboard.

I do agree about the video card. Obviously it would be better if it wasn't shared, but it has 4gb of RAM so no big deal there for me.

As far as upgrading the RAM, yes 1gb sticks go for around 20-25,000w in Yongsan, but to upgrade to 4gb you would have to replace both 1gb sticks with 2x2gb. That costs a little bit more. It has a 64 bit OS so 4gb is optimal.

It is under warranty for another 11 months.

Anyway, thanks to all with input.

Thats just the thing here...people do not want to part with almost 40-50% of thier paycheck...for a second hand item. Yours is of high value...only 1 month old. However, people here want to get something for less....MUCH less.

I am in the market for a laptop/desknote in that price range but I wont be able to buy it for another 2 months or more.

Best wishes toward selling your pc...4gigs of ram sounds very nice to me.
Only thing I am wary about is the 64bit OS, some of my games might have issues with it, along with a older mmorpg that we play might not work period.
