To my memory, China has had no less than 8 safety issues in the last few years.

1. Lead in the paint of baby toys.

2. Garbage in mandu.

3. Pesticides in some food in Japan (was it mandu as well?)

4. Poisonous ink on t-shirts (unconfirmed)

5. Dead mouse in the shrimp chips.

6. Dead animal in frozen vegetables.

7. Poisonous baby formula and milk.

8. Poisonous dog food.

At what point do we tell China that we don't want them to make our products anymore?

I feel that there should be big labels telling what parts of a product were from China -- in food, at least.

I'm concerned that some big Korean companies are being protected in this. They're scared to death of being called-out and losing business because they've been cramming products full of this China crap. A great many Koreans are starting to question this as well.

BTW, have you noticed that one of the side effects of melanin is skin irritation. Ever notice the oddly disproportionate number of students who have skin irritation issues in Korea?

I think that's pollution, not melanin. But who knows.

The Korean FDA ordered the Haitai custard cakes off the shelves, but the reporters of the Herland were still able to find them on the shelf. Someone here not doing their job?

Guess it's time to stop moaning about US beef and start worrying about China's garbage in the food problem.

As Krugman said, China sends us corrupted consumer products and we send them fraudulent securities.
