Songtan will be having a big food festival this weekend in front of the Osan Air Base. For those who havent been to Songtan, this is a good time to visit. Lots of foods, bands, and shopping. It starts at noon until around 10pm. If you like Mexican food, check out La Casa on second floor across from Basking Robbins. Come hungry! |

It'll be a good one... And yes the #5 plate at the mexican restaurant is the best thing going in Korea as far as tacos are concerned... I've had better in the states but not by much. |

Directions to Songtan on subway: Take line number 1, the dark blue line to Songtan Station. Its two stops past Osan Station. Take taxi in front of station and say "Front Gate" Its about 2000w, 5 minute ride. If you take a bus to Songtan bus terminal, outside of terminal walk West up the hill and cross the bridge over the train tracks. Take any side street and walk North or follow the people. Hope that helps! |

Not a bad time. Met some guy w/ a 70lb pedigree bulldog and a Thai wife. I bought his and hers giant house robes which are essentially blankets (made from the material they make those football and whatnot blankets from)...weighed about 7kilos in the bag. They'll go down well when the weather gets cold, although I have mine on now. Quite chilly tonight In the Everland valley. Good price as well 50,000 for both. |
