It's being carried by nine TV networks, and I'm sure you can hear/see it online (on TVU if no where else ...)
I'm watching on CNN. |

Yeah, even I agree there. Although Obamma was articulate he was kinda short on substance. Doesn't help that McCains wife looks like someone who wouldn't look out of place as someone trying out for "bubblebutts" either. |

at times...
but McCain did surprisingly well with domestic issues and surprisingly not as well as expected with foreign/military issues!
I watched the debate on C-SPAN and right after they went to responses of the campaign teams behind the stage and a KBS South Korean reporter kept asking the Obama campaign manager about North Korea and the Obama rep said six different ways the same point: the Bush admin had for a long time not engaged in talks with NK and it led to nuclear growth there whereas Obama is committed to engaging NK in talks.; |

Obama remarked that McCain once called for the destruction (I think he used a term like "incineration" or "extermination") of North Korea.
That was in response to McCain's criticizing Obama for "naively" announcing in advance (rather than keeping mum) that he would send troops into Pakistan to get bin Laden if his location were known and the Pakistani military failed to act.
Overall, I think that both candidates gave a good account of themselves, but neither scored a decisive victory in terms of style and substance.

WTF? Obama is making it sound like North Korea was sitting at the table waiting for the US to come. Does he even read the news? Doesn't realize that its always been north Korea pulling away from talks, or shutting the door.
This is one of the many reasons I'm against Obama. |

well just because its in the news doesnt mean its fact.. reporters only know first what we know.. I think obama might know better than us..
you never know what the real reasons are.. |

North Korea tries to play hardball just like us. When the carrot just keeps getting dangled in front of them with no reward, they're going to revert to their old ways. This back and forth has been going on for years now. |

My favorite line thus far is:
"By the way North Korea...most oppressive and brutal regime on Earth. The average South Korean is 3 inches taller than the average North Korean."
