Yeah, I really wanna see Biden VS Palin.

Gotta think that Biden says something really really stupid, and Palin gets lost in repeating canned answers.

Anybody know who's going to show it live?

There's this wonderful new channel that has lots of news in English, based in America but with reporters all over the world. You may not be familiar with them, but I've heard it's called...wait for it....CNN.

They had the last "debate" on live, so I'd assume they'll have the VP "debate" as well.

Don't watch much TV? Never heard of something called "re-runs" in your life? Wow, must be fun.

The "debate" was on live, I missed Daily Show and World Sports because of it. Just because you didn't catch it doesn't mean it wasn't on.

MSNBC.com ran it live.

Right at 10am the red bar across the top turned green. Click that and sit back and enjoy.

Palin will look dumb in that debate. You or I could answer a direct question better than her.

Her post-Convention interviews have confounded me: the lady's obviously intelligent, ambitious, and accomplished. How then to account for such cringingly poor interviews?

Could it be all by design? ie. could it be that given-to-verbal-gaffes but likable Joe will face an all-conquering tigress, come the VP Debate, poor Joe lulled by her previous performances? Or could it be that it suits the GOP to have her purposefully come across as a less-than-polished woman-next-door Everywoman? How to account for such flubs and - ESL teachers to the barricades! - her overwhelming lack of coherence?

Will it be, in the light of history, a case of, "Oh Sarah, we hardly knew ye!"?

[Full Disclosure: If I were an American, I'd usually vote Republican. Among other things, Pro-Life means a lot to me; and Obama's voting record in that area seems to be of an abhorent heartlessness. Though, for this coming election, a few things - Palin generally being kept away from the press, McCain's haughty reactions, and perhaps of a terribly and inflexibly fixed-mindedness, to Obama in their debate yesterday, and Palin appearing to be so out of depth - could well see me, and most regretfully so, leaning away from McCain/Palin.]

That...is the worst sentence I have ever read. My wife teaches English at the European Commission, and I have encouraged her to show it to her students as an example of how not to write.

She thinks maybe her students could correct it but I'm convinced it's simply too far gone.

Surely, you protest too much, shapeshifter. Is there perhaps some other reason you don't like my post?

Afraid not. I just thought that such memorably poor writing merited some attention. It really is a shocking sentence. Read it back to yourself. Aren't you at least mildly embarrassed?

so you'd consider voting for the republicans, who are responsible for and have stated clearly that they'd be proud to continue to be responsible for more death?

death in the womb, ok. get emotional about that. but shrapnel ripping some innocent kid's face off in a country who never attacked the USA?

are you for real? are you drunk or something?
