Wow, so many stereotypes going on here. Russian women come in all varieties just like any other women in the world. With any women who are really good-looking, there's bound to be some big egos whether they're Russian or not. And there are a lot of gorgeous Russian women out there. Many of them do have traditional values, are well educated, hard-working and are not tramps. I grew up around Russians. They tend to stick to their own but overall, they're very friendly.

And after 4 pages, a voice of reason.

^ Well I think there is a major difference between Russian women in Russia, and Russian women abroad.

Especially in South Korea, where clearly the majority of them here work in the "entertainment industry".

Yes, that is true and many of the Russian women abroad also do not work in the entertainment industry. Many of the women teach Russian, go to university, work in factories, or work in companies involved with regular trade. I have dated a Russian girl in Korea, and she definitely doesn't work in the entertainment industry, and she doesn't like how some English teachers and others jump to the conclusion that all Russians do the same thing over here, when it's not true. Not all Americans are teachers, not all Americans are soldiers, some are businessmen, some are students. There is everything over here.

It's a stereotype that all US Passport holders speak English, and yet it's largely true.

You'd be surprised how many women from Russia and former Soviet republics, some of them pretty, have married Korean men. And this despite immigration's crackdown on Russian entertainers coming to work in Korea and the like.

One Russian girl told me she found Korean men more warm than Russian men, and I've heard from other sources just how cold Russian men can be. Oh well.

I came across the real article before, but couldn't find it just now.

Do you think North American men behave better than Russian men?
North America, Australia, and the U.K. have high rates of rape. I am not saying Russia doesn't. Officially, it doesn't, but it might not be reported as much. Also, are there not judges in Canada and the US who have not said things that could be viewed as misogynistic, and there are judges who rule against men in North America which leads to reverse discrimination.

As far as Russian women, unless one knows for sure, one should not assume what a Russian woman is doing here. There are plenty of Russian women who are not entertainers. I've met plenty who were not. I don't hang out where the Russians are entertainers. You can find a good, middle class girl in Korea. There is no doubt about it. If you can't tell the difference between the Russian girls, then you don't know the culture. A big bulk of the Phillipinas here are engaged in the entertainment industry, but plenty are not. Let's just remember that.
