Great band...I saw The Cure in 88 right after this song came out. Back then we talked about how The Head on the Door, Japanese Whispers and The Caterpillar were better albums and how they'd somehow lost something in their music after The Caterpillar was released. Hah, it all runs together now. Fascination Street was one of my favorite songs, along with Close to me, Caterpillar and A Forest and Lovecats.
Loved the brass in this version of Close to me
Best version of A Forest imo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMJ-VURvb2o
I really regret not seeing Siouxsie & the Banshees. |

Just Like Heaven is one of my favorite songs of all times!!!
"show me show me show me how you do that trick, the one that makes me scream she said..."
Dinosaur Jr did a pretty good cover that I used to love in my angst-filled teenage days. |

For a textbook example of a straight up-and-down, guilt-free, sugary sweet, radio-friendly, singalong pop song, try Friday I'm in Love. |

Ahh..feek off nutcase. The mods can move it if they like. As for The Cure, they were great. 'London Burning', one of my all time favorites. |
