It's easy to get around/Bosan has the base - American shops and market. Phone stores/clothes etc. Jihang (New City) - Dunkin Donuts/Pizza Hut/Education City Hall. Emart/Lotte are 10000 taxi/or 4-5 stops train south. You will have the mountain for hiking.

We are 2 stops from the end. As for the community we have Camp Casey and Hovey here. Other than Osan base/Songtan - there aren't more American area's in Korea. You have access to a lot of stuff (in English.) Buses are ok - if you can handle them.

PM me with exact questions

Don't live in DDC if you don't want to be around Americans... they're everywhere. Kind of annoying...

Would your statement apply to all North and South Americans or just those people who happen to reside somewhere between Mexico and Canada? Rolling Eyes

Don't live anywhere in Korea, OP if you don't want to be around any Koreans or gods forbid, other foreigners. Laughing

American military saturate DDC. It's cool for some... not so much for others.

P_B, will that do for you?
