On my family's computer. Loaded in internet explorer. Didn't work. Asked to download some activex thing, did it.

Now when I click the "English" button I get two presumably error popups, all in gibberish because this computer doesn't speak Korean. Ends up taking me back to the Korean page and downloading some nProtect thing over and over.

Looks like some activex (*rage*) problem that I don't have the first idea how to fix because all the errors are in Korean. Anyone know how to fix it?

Might need to have Korean language pack downloaded and installed.

The nProtect program needs to be installed once.
Go into the languages bit of the control panel and add Korean(Sticky on here somewhere!), or just try pressing buttons which are different from the ones that ask you to reinstall nProtect.

Need to install Korean to click through to the English section? Doesn't sound right...

nProtect keeps doing its thing over and over, and it's not a button to reinstall, it just happens after I click the English button and it sends me back to the Korean page.

P.S.
Installing Korean won't help much since I don't think my Korean is good enough to navigate the site. That's why I want to be able to get to the English page in the first place...

English is not the default language. I believe u may need it in for the activex/proctection part of the site to install. Mine works fine.

I'm having a similar problem.

I'm trying to register and I'm going through the process to get a certificate. I'm doing it on my work laptop (Korean Windows) because my home computer won't even let me in the website.

Anyway, half way through the registration process I keep getting an error. It's a paragraph long and in Korean. I can read some of it, but it doesn't specifically mention what I did wrong. The error code is 6013.

Anyone else have this problem? I'd like to pay bills today...

Make sure you have a korean Language Pack Installed.

Go into Regional and Language Settings in your Control Panel and make sure you change your "Location" settings to Korea. This will elimate the "squiggly" lines.

Then click on the English Link in KB bank's website. Follow the directions from there. Let ALL KB's software install itself. You MUST have the Certificate Key card that you get from your local KB Bank when you sign up for Internet Banking. This card has all the codes you'll need to setup Internet Banking.

It took me a long while to get everything right, but I finally got in going and it's great to be able to check my balances and send funds / recieve funds from people.

It's definitely worth the hassle.

Has anybody used a mac to successfully get things rolling? I really need this done quick, but I don't even get the option to install anything. I get the 2 errors though, sure enough.

Yes you have to use IE. And the website seems most compatible with windows XP. The reason why you have to use IE is because of Active X, which only works with windows. Active X is the only way that Koreans want to secure their websites, etc.

I installed windows via boot camp specifically for this purpose. To the OP: just keep on trying. I had some problems at first, but I was persistent, and eventually it just started working.

Yah I got it eventually, but now I have a question which I e-mailed them about twice and haven't gotten any response. It's been like 2 weeks since the first e-mail. Sad

The solution to that is to have a korean friend call for you that you can trust.

.

I assume that's why it won't download the XecureWeb plug-in from the KEB site. I know they just released a version of XecureWeb for Safari. XecureWeb being the plug-in that they want to use for security purposes. maybe I'm just totally screwed then because I have an iBook. I need to have my boss call up and find out what my megapass username and password is if I want to use my tablet which has XP on it.

What the heck is this megapass thing anyway? Sorry for the OT
