Can F1 visa holders legally work if they have their degree?
I know that F2 and F4 holders have no problem, but I'm not sure on the rules for F1.
I've tried to look it up online and found conflicting information. If anyone can send me a link, it would be greatly appreciated. |

No. F1 is non-working visa for family visitation.
You can apply for E2 visa. |

IF you qualify for a work visa in another category (as a foreign worker) you can ADD that job to your status of sojourn (eg, teacher E2, editor, E7, etc).
IF you do NOT qualify as a foreign worker (wouldn't otherwise be able to get a work visa) then it is UNLIKELY (but not impossible) that you would be given permission to work. It costs you virtually nothing (60k won and a contract / job offer) to try.
You may also be able to change to an F4 which would enable you to work (depending on your ancestry).
