Any one know of anything I can buy in Korea that would transfer pictures from a digital camera to a new Ipod classic?
Any help would be much appreciated!!!! Thank you! |

There used to be the apple camera adapter, but all reports say its slow and painful to use. Not sure if its even supported on your newer ipod.
Look at the price of memory cards on Gmarket(or other). Why spend $40 or $50 on a dongle when you could almost buy a 16gb card for that money.
16gb is a hell of a lot of photo's.
Or if its just to view the photo's on the ipod, itunes should do the job. If its on a mac its really easy, just select the iphoto (or aperture) library you want.
on PC? not sure as I don't have one. |

You could get some dvdr's and burn the pics on, or email them, or upload them onto photobucket or something.
I got a card reader on gmarket for 6k. |

Hey Thanks to all you guys for your help : )
I think the best option as I'll be traveling for about 4 months and have limited space are memory cards..which I kind of knew from the start..just didn't want to have a bunch flying around in my bag or whatever..
Thanks again!
Cheers

I wouldn't bother with the iPod adapter.
I had one and in my testing found that loading 2GB from an SD card took about 50 minutes (I think) and consumed most of the battery power (for sure). Also, it really worked the hard drive.
I think, overall, you're better off getting extra memory cards or a portable storage device. The problem with these hard drive based products is their fragility. I had a problem with one (reputably a rugged unit) on my last trip. I fixed it, but my confidence in it as a reliable back up is shaken. On my next trip, I'll be taking a lot of cards. |
