Does anyone know where I can buy a hard case for my skis in Seoul? I'm leaving soon and want to mail them back home, rather than use up 1 checked bag on the airplane. |

I have a soft case that I use to bring my gear across in. I bring them on the plane. Unless things have changed due to the fuel hikes, you should be able to bring one peice of sporting equipement along with your 2 pieces of luggage on an international flight with out an additional charge. I used to be charged 80$ on local flights. Not bad compared to the cost of shipping gear.
Last time I actually brought 2 bags, a bike and a snowboard. Dropped 80 for the extra bag and thought it was a great deal.
Check with the airlines before you shell out big money on a hard case and shipping. |
