Does anyone have any experience or advice on this?

I'm considering applying to an MBA program (haven't decided which university yet) and would like to hear the stories of others who have either done an MBA here or have looked into it.

Cheers

I really think you need to have some foresight into what your goals are. If you plan on going back to a western country to work, I imagine a Korean MBA would not be worth much --- but, if you speak Korean fluently and were going to go to work for a western company that did a lot of business in Korea, it could be an asset.

The trouble is, most posters here are English teachers. I think you would be better off posting your question on an appropriate business forum.

As the above poster said, unless you plan to work in Korea or work for a company somehow connected with Korea obtaining an MBA here is even more a waste of time than it is back home. Then again there are always exceptions, but it's a chance you take.

Yonsei or Korea have the best programs, but SNU has the big name and the cheaper tuition. For my buck, though, I'd go Yonsei.

All credits transfer, so it's a way to knock out a lot of course work if nothing else.

Try a search. This topic has been covered extensively on a number of threads.
