Okay, ytuque, why don't you spell it out for me and others. What exactly is the relevance of this statement in regards to US foreign policy?

btw, the East German statement was completely facetious.

It means that North Korea is a cruel and oppressive regime. If they are willing to do that to their own people what might they do with nuclear weapons?

Rhhee, good explanation!

Of course North Korea is an oppressive regime, but unless McCain has some issue with height, the statement is fairly silly and actually trivialises the oppression.

It's a silly statement that came from a silly man, that's my read.

Have you considered the fact that this talking point was approved by political consultants after being successfully tested on a representative sample of voters? Are you aware of any high level political analysts who have made negative remarks about this comment?

Its that sort of broad based, lack of nuanced thinking
that has gotten the US into all the BS it has been in over the past 8yrs.

The danger in N Korea getting nukes isnt using them on Seoul, it's selling them to Iran because they have no capital and the lowest credit rating of any country on the planet.

Oppression does not equal stupidity.

No one is arguing they should be allowed to get nukes, and no one is arguing N Korea isnt the worst place on the face of the planet. But this comment McCain made is completely ancillary to the overall question of N Korea.

In my experience it is who can get an adequate number of verbs into a sentence, as it were.

For a year I worked in a 'school' for the mentally retarded. Being well-hung was not a problem for many of them. I'm not at all sure you have a point that does you credit.

wow, you caught a a grammar mistake in a quickly typed and glib little jab mostly meant to help western dudes (mostly canadian) cope with the fact that they're not african.

for your efforts - a piece of pie.

well done, sir.
