| By the Way - thanks for mentioning that in your Hagwon you have a great boss. I also have a great boss where I work as well. Not enough of us give credit to the decent owners here. All we ever hear about are the bad ones. There are many good owners here as well. |

Well, the party was amazing.
Over 50 people showed up. There was a really nice buffet set up. Figuring that was it for food, myself and all the others filled their plates to the brim with food. It was also some of the best buffet food I have had in Korea.
Shortly after people started eating from the buffet, the waiters started bringing out steak and potatoes for everyone. The steak was excellent.
We set up the table for my son to pick money or a string or a pencil ect... We added the Canadian touch, and had a hockey puck on the table. And sure enough, he picked the puck.
At any rate, I am truly grateful for the gesture. My bosses have taken very good care of our family. Mind you, I have always worked as hard as possible for the benefit of the company. |

A. 1 year airfare 2,000,000w x 2 = 4,000,000 x 6 = 24,000,000w
B. 1 year pension/medical 1,400,000w x 2 = 2,400,000 x 6 = 14,400,000w
C. 1 year bogus tax deductions 1,200,000w x 2 = 2,400,000 x 6 = 14,400,000w
D. Directors, from the local hagwon association, having a good yuck-up at your expense at a local room salon 4,000,000w.
E. Buddy is up 48,800,000w.
Sorry for deflating the capraesque bubble but I have very little sympathy for this sort of thread. Just keepin' it real. |

| I'm not sure what your point is gangpae...unless you know the OP and his situation personally. (Disclosure..I do know the OP) I don't see anywhere where sympathy is required. |

Okaaaaay...
"WTF" have A, B, C, D, or E (especially D) got to do with the OP's boss renting a restaurant for him?...or did you only read the thread title?
And sympathy.... wouldn't the word sympathy be reserved for someone who was fucked over by their boss, rather than rewarded?
Your post was so out of left field that I wondered if you had inside information. |

Just to keep it real gangpae, and factual
A. Check, I go home when I want, including my wife and son, and the company pays for it.
B. Check,
C. I get the standard deductions, and received over 700,000 won back on my taxes when I filed this year.
D. Bosses are not part of a hagwon association, this is a fact.
E. I don't know where you are coming up with this crap.
As Poet said, I am rewarded for my hard work and loyalty.
Sorry to call you an ignorant tool, actually I am not sorry, but you have no idea of who I am, or the workings of our school. If you were taken advantage of in the past because of your own idiocy, that's your problem. I have no sympathy for ignoramuses like yourself. |

Greetings,
You have been blessed. I am so happy all is well with you and your family...and that the boy picked the puck.
I am headed back to Korea at month's end. I have accepted an elementary school position.
Best regards,

Tag team action from polonius and his sock/wife poet13, I like it. Congratulations on your great hagwon/school/company what ever it is.
How do you know your bosses don't belong to a hagwon association? |
