13 years to the date of his acquittal sometimes justice is a little slow.

There was a lot of speculation that this time he was going to get convicted for his misdeeds. I remember following the criminal trial over 10 years ago when I was in college. The day the verdict was being read, I decided to skip part of a class and stay home and watch to see what happened. I ended up getting to my class about 20-30 minutes late and shortly after that someone came into each classroom with a sign that said "not guilty" signifying that was the verdict in the trial. Even now I find that slightly odd.

It does seem like in retrospect that the outcome of that trial was suspect at best. The prosecutors have been criticised for not doing a good job on proving his guilty.

I'd venture to guess he'll appeal the verdict, hopefully the judge was very careful not to let bias into the trail (although I'd guess that would be pretty difficult).

I'm not sure I'm on board for this verdict. It depends for me on if the stuff he was trying to get back was stolen. If it was his items and they were stolen, how can you rob someone to get your own crap back?

Seems like justice to me.

I haven't followed the trial at all though. So maybe someone can elaborate on that. If someone has my stolen goods, I'm getting my crap back.

That said... he was guilty as hell for the murders.

If it is your stuff you call the police, you don't kidnap someone at gunpoint like OJ did.

The man is scum. He got what he deserved in the end.

Didn't he call the FBI or some such and they refused to help him get his stuff back?

All I'm saying is that if it was his stuff and it was stolen. I don't consider it a crime. If someone stole from me, something important, and the police refused to help me. I'd probably get it back myself.

In fact, in Phoenix one time, my coup deville was stolen. It was a 79, the last year they were made out of steel and I love thatcar. My friend saw it behind a grocery store and called me. The police said they would respond and send a unit. I got there first. I detained the ass at gunpoint until they got there. I did nothing illegal, the police criticized me but they guy was pulling out of the parking lot. I effectively made a citizen's arrest. He was booked, charged, plead and eventually got probation for grand theft auto.

Had I not done it I could have lost the car forever. It was already a little trashed out unfortunately and was never the same. Eventually got it stolen again in Mexico.

That said, I wouldn't fault OJ for the same circumstances.

Now about his murder. We all think he is guilty I'm sure. He was found innocent. He was convicted in civil court. He doesn't deserved to be punished for this because of his murder years ago he was deemed innocent for.

The fact that OJ wrote his confession book and then committed this stupid act tells me that he knew he should be in jail and was determined to put himself there.
