I wonder if the Republicans gave her a makeover. She claims to be this hockey / soccer mom, but she sure doesn't look like one.

I have the feeling that the Republicans are desperate to compete with Obama's rock star- like charisma.

Based on speaking ability and the ability to connect with people, McCain can't compete with Obama.

Scripted or not, I was impressed with Palin's debating skills, but not so much what she had to say.

That said, she's no Margaret Thatcher. If America wants to be seen as leading country of the world, it needs someone along the caliber of Margaret Thatcher. Thatcher had class and intelligence.

In my opinion, Palin comes off as aggressive in a whiney bitchy kind of way. If she and McCain get elected, I think they will keep America in useless wars and drag the country down further. Peace loving people they do not look like.
