Hi,
I'm looking to see if anyone has done Cheonwangbong in a day at Jirisan. I'm hoping on Wednesday to go to Jirisan from Daejeon to Baekmudong. There is a direct bus that goes from Daejeon to there in about 2 hour 10 minutes. It leaves at 7:20, so I would get there by 9:30.
So, is it possible to hike up to Cheonwangbong in a day from there. I found a map on Naver that said you can get up there in about 5 hours and i would say you could make it down in maybe 4.
Has anyone done this? I'm looking for personal experience. I'd concider myself a pretty avid hiker and physically capable. Want I don't want to happen though is to get stuck there in the dark trying to come down.
If this isn't possible, does anyone have any great idea for a day hike in Jirisan with great views?
