My absolute favorite FPS is Warrock by Nexon. You need an ID for it on the Korean servers but once you head back to your homelands you can play for free on the International servers at www.warrock.net (but...no servers available if in Korea from the International version).

It is like the Battlefields but I prefer the better graphics of Warrock and the maps are extremely awesome, with tanks, planes, boats etc to drive around.

Get a Korean to sign you up and play, totally worth the small effort of getting an ID (My korean friend saved the hassles and used his mom and dad's ID's for me and my other waeguk friend)

Actually go to the international site to check the game out in English as the Korean game is the same (actually the Korean version is slightly faster at updates and new weapons and maps as it is the original).

I'm having a great time playing through Oblivion. RPG/FPS. Looking forward to more with Fallout 3!

I didn't love Witcher. The loading times were ridiculous...but seemed a fun RPG as long as I could endure playing it.

Oblivion is excellent and still fun a second time through after 2 years. The PC version with all the extras is quite a deal too, considering the game is flat out massive. I'm doing it again now and it's amazing how many different paths you can take through the game.

It's a good distraction from waiting for the new World of Warcraft expansion to come out.

Medal of Honor: Airborne, is a a good WWII shooter.

If you're PC is up to it, then Crysis and Crysis: Warhead, are both great games.

Frontlines: Fuel or War, was a surprisingly good shooter. Well worth a download.

Crysis has been the best game I've ever played. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help on this. Frontlines Fuel of war was good, MOHAA was great, Call of Duty 4 was even better - BUT CRYSIS ROCKS!

Crysis was good but it wasn't nearly groundbreaking in terms of gameplay. Fun, but Far Cry did the sandbox gaming thing and Crysis only perfected it in terms of graphics.

Mass Effect = excellent graphics/gameplay/everything.

I also liked Mass Effect as a multiform game (FPS, with RPG elements and so on).

Fallout 2 was fun, and Oblivion is good too (both RPGs). Check out some of the mods in Steam, not only some are free, but they might be fun to play.

Played Warrock, thought it was too easy. Check out S4 League for a third person shooter with great music from Pentavision (DJ Max Portable)

For anyone who has anything in the Halflife 2 family a kick ass mod has just started to gain popularity. It's called Age of Chivalry, and there are a good bunch of busy Korean and Chinese servers. It's been out for a while, but Valve just started hosting it on Steam, and its popularity has shot way up. Before I had to play on US servers at 230+ ping but now there are a bunch of servers pinging sub 50. It's like a medieval combat FPS with knights and archers and footmen. It's a little odd at first, but once you get used to it its pretty sweet. If the melee is too frantic at first you can play and archer till you get the hang of it. Playing as a knight and cutting a swath through the other teams feels much cooler and more kinetic than CS. Also, because it's a mod it's free, provided you have HL2/CSS/TF etc.

Oh and Mass Effect is Awesome.

Playing mass effect through as a woman now and choosing the dark side. See how it affects the game is pretty fun, but the tedious running around parts gets annoying the second time through.

Also picked up bioshock which has a very interesting feel to it. Been pretty cool so far.
