If anyone has or knows where in or near Bucheon to get a plug converter so I can plug my US computer adapter into a Korean wall, I would appreciate it. I have checked half a dozen electronic stores as well as E-mart, and can't find anything. I brought two with me, but because the outlets are recessed, the plugs won't fit. Any help would be appreciated.

Your nearest office supply / stationary store will have plug adapters.
Alpha stationary stores carry them as a standard stock item.
They are usually 300-500 won.

Print off a copy of the photo if you need to. A photo is worth 1000 words.

Chun won stores often carry them as well - in with the rest of the hardware stuff.

You shouldn't need a power converter/transformer (check your brick/power supply label to be sure). If it reads:
Input: 110-240VAC
then you are fine with just a plug adapter.

I can confirm 100% that all apple laptops (at least in the past few years) are all multi voltage. You'll just need a figure8 cable.

If you while "brick" currently has the flat style US pins, you can remove the whole bit, exposing the figure 8 socket.

Stationary stores, cheon won shops, HiMarts etc all should sell the right cable, usually only a few bucks.

Of course if you want official you can buy the world adapter set from apple but I'm guess you don't want to spend that much

good luck
