For all you from BC:
| Quote: |
One of B.C.'s most successful recent exports to Hong Kong -- the Triple O burger -- will soon arrive in Seoul, Korea.
White Spot's Triple O fast-food restaurants have been serving Hong Kong for several years; indeed, the locations there consistently outperform all of the chain's 50 other ones.
Spurred by this, the Suen Group, run by a Hong Kong-based family with ties to Vancouver, has plans to open more locations in Hong Kong, making a total of seven. The Suens have also opened a Triple O restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand.
Now, in a partnership with Korean businessman Michael Choi, they are aiming to open eight locations in Seoul over the next five years. |

The first location, opening this month, will be in Apgujeong. Pirate Packs, anyone? |

| I ate at a White Spot fast-food outlet (in Hope) last summer. It was all right, but I couldn't believe how much it cost for just a simple burger with no fries or drink. They were also really understaffed and it took forever to get our order. I can't really see how a fast-food chain can thrive when you take the 'cheap and convenient' out of the equation. |

| White Spot is ok. It's just another fast food joint with servers, but worth a trip once in a while. More dining choices and options are always a good thing. |

| There is, or was, a White Spot in Calgary. But, they didn't do burgers, it was a steak house. |

We went to the Triple O White Spot in Hong Kong. It was AWESOME! WAY better than I have EVER had at home in BC!!
My husband and his brother were both blown away by the huge, delicious burgers and the awesome freshly made fries! They grew up in Texas and my BIL said when I was visiting last month he STILL thinks about the great burger he had at White Spot in Hong Kong!
It's completely different from the BC burgers and I for one am looking forward to it!! |

| Dang man, that White Spot is where the white English speaking people go to overpay for a burger. I want the White Castle; not just a White Spot in the road kind of place. |

White spot is a very different place than it used to be.
The White Spot's that I fondly remember eating Pirate Packs at in Richmond/Vancouver are pretty much long long gone.
Now there's the over-priced fancy wannabe White Spot and the over-priced fast food White Spot. |

I hit the White Spot in Hong Kong every time I went down to the city. The burgers were better and cheaper than any other decent burger joint in Hong Kong.
I think this is a wonderful thing for Seoul. |

| Just saw it the other night, it's next to Cinecity in Apgujeong, at the Hakdong Sageori intersection. Across from Ho Lee Chow. It's on the main road and you can see it from there, but it's a bit recessed in a newer black building. |
