Simple solutions:

Use a scarecrow. Tie a yellow jacket to a string and suspend it from the ceiling right over your bed. That may work.

You can also use a mosquito voodoo doll. Stab that fucker hard before you go to sleep...ARRGGGHHHH. Take that, you fucking mosquito!

Try to talk to your pests like Tommy (Joe Pesci) in "Goodfellas" would. "What? I'm your bloodbank, you motherfucking piece of shit you? I'll bury your ass in a hole out in the desert if you bite me." That'll scare 'em off.

omg, i was wondering what this phenomenon was. Every night there would be that one mosquito in my room harassing me and making my life hell.

Well, i kept the lights on and killed him last night. luckily for me, they aren't as fast here.

Also, the windows are screened so i don't know where they are coming from.

The mosquitoes in my room have a single file approach. Their leader is hiding somewhere, ordering them out one by one. 'OK guys, make sure that sonofabitch does not get a peaceful night's sleep. Adam, go, attack! Barney, get ready, in case he gets Adam. Charlie, wait here.'

I think they have a more efficient plan of attack, one mosquito per person.

In the states, i know after i get bitten the third time it's over as it's happily stuffed. Here, i guess because the korean food is so nonfattening, it seems the bites are endless as they are not satiated so i have to get up and kill the fuker or i'll never have any peace or sleep!

How long can mosquitoes go without food/drink?

Why is it that every time I kill a mosquitoe another one comes back the next night - and there's only ever 1/2 a night.

When I leave my window open, how come I'm not bitten to death by the morning?

it's an interesting conspiracy. there is a mosquito with your name on it..
