So, I've brought a DS over from the US. The adapter for the DS says 100V, so using a simple adapter here in Korea is a no go.

Now, before I buy a transformer just to charge the DS, I'm wondering if it would be better to buy a power adapter specifically for the DS here in Korea.

Do DS's made for the US market only work at 110V? Are all DS's the same, and therefore if I bought a DS adapter in Korea that could plug into the Korea power it would work fine?

You could get a charger for the DS in Yongsan. Either wall socket or USB that you can plug into your PC. I had a US import DS way back and that worked for me.

In general (for any electronic equipment) just make sure that the batteries are the same chemistry and the voltages are the same. That's all that's required and that's the case here.

I'm in Busan. Anyone have any idea where I could go here to find a USB power adapter for the DS. That would work as my lappy adapter works fine with the power here.
