|
|
I'm in Seoul wondering how to book a ferry ticket, it seems like it should be really straight forward, but all the information I find online is at least 3 years old.
I need to book a ticket from Busan to Fukuoka on the hydrofoil. Can anyone tell me the best way to go about it? Also if anyone knows the current price for a round trip ticket that would be great. Also if anyone knows the price of the overnight ferry so that I could compare that would be great.
Thanks
PS it is time to update the stickies! |

You can book over the phone, or online if you have a Korean credit card. Seat61.com has links - you can check current availability on the Beetle website. I think some travel agents will sell tickets too. |

If you can't go to the ferry office and don't want to call them or book online, I think Unique Travel in Itaewon can sort you out - if not, they'll probably know someone who does do ferry tickets. |

You can book the ferry from any travel agent in Korea...if you want an english speaking one go to this website as they specialize in the ferry and you can do it all by email.
www.kangsantravel.com
Just have the time and date you want, specify it is the ferry you want to take and that is it.....
price should be 90-100 000 won one way, double for return. |

It's much cheaper to buy the ticket in Korea, about W190000 RT. Buying from the Japan side will run you around Y240,000 unless you can get some kind of discount (rare). |

http://www.jrbeetle.co.jp/english/ is the direct site for the ferry in English, and you can pay with international credit cards. |
