Yes, decomposition. If you're lucky, and wait a millions years or so, some future homonid species might dig up your bones and display them at one of their museums.

"To fear death, gentlemen, is to think one is wise when one is not."

i hope there is a God, so he can smite your ignorant ass. Actually you could actually build a convincing argument for the non existence of a God, just going on the fact that you have yet to be punished for your idiocy. What kind of self respecting God would not have aimed at least one lightning bolt your way already...

There is therefore only one conclusion. There is no God and no afterlife, and twats such as yourself will not receive the punishment you so rightly deserve.

The fact that he lets jerks like you spout off reveals His mercy.

More of an oversight than mercy since he also lets babies die of AIDS and shit.

Well, duh. He doesn't smite me because I'm Irish catholic. Nobody told you about that?

the question is wrongly formed, or at least misleading in that it pretends to be a factual yes/no query whereas it presupposes a kind of answer

like, Are you still beating your wife? and Will the aliens take over the world? and Is there a God?

to even ask the question in the first place one needs a certain set of beliefs, otherwise it sounds odd, fanciful, even absurd

and the answer "I don't know" isn't necessarily a claim to proof as much as an attempt to appease the questioner on a thought that doesn't grip one at all

You can not choose A or B. Anyone who did is an idiot or supremely arrogant unless they can actually give us some proof.

Personally I believe there is nothing after death but I don't know that for sure.

I disagree. Those with an intense belief in God due to some kind of personal experience may believe very strongly in an afterlife. I'd put it down to hallucination, but that's just me.

As for me: I considered "I don't know." But I'd say that given that the evidence we have available points that consciousness is generated by the brain and the brain alone, it's reasonable to adopt the position that once the brain dies, so does life. So I chose 'no.' After all, where does a candle flame go once you blow it out? We can't know for certain, but it seems logical that it's just gone, isn't it?

Do you think God has a mean right hook? I'm willing to bet he has a haymaker that would take your head, neck and portions of your collarbone clean off your body...That's my guess anyway.

Pretty hilarious that anyone answers anything other than "I don't know" to this question.
