The cheapest ticket at 110,000 won is about 100,000 too much for an act like this.

Wow.

Got all excited for 2 seconds. 110,000 is more than I would pay to see any musician, ever.....unless James Brown, Fela Kuti, Miles Davis, and Jimi Hendrix all come back from the dead and play together.

That's ridiculous! I almost paid 70,000 for my wife to go see Sweetbox last year, but over 100,000 is way too much. I'd go for 50-75,000.

I notice that almost all big acts charge around 100,000 or more. I think it's the nature of doing a concert in Korea. There are many acts I would see for 100,000. The last one was NIN.

Hold off on those tix till the 25th or so....it was reported in the JoongAng English rag on Saturday that the promoter/booking pimp hasn't paid anyone representing the band just yet due to crazy exchange rates. Keep watching....this isn't a done deal. 110,000 won per ticket, eh? Sounds like the promoter wants YOU to help him offset the costs of the up-front dosh....just my 10 won. Ta Ta!

the logistics of promoting a gig here have to suck, and the promoters need to get on the ball and organise them as asian tours, not just a Korea tour.
have you ever heard of an os act playing a second gig outside of Seoul?

such a depressing state of affairs, but when there is an international act out here that I like I'll suck it up and pay the asking price. As its not a regular thing.

hope the promoters dont screw this one up, like most of the acts that get touted to come over do

I saw them play in Chicago about 10 years ago, and it is still in the top 3 concert experiences in my lifetime. They rocked out with a 12 piece band...110,000 is insane, but I might just pay it if they actually do play here.

Shouldn't your opinion be worth 20 won?

Actually, with the exchange rate, it should be woth 24.789 won.

Good luck as a foreigner getting tickets anyways. If you could go somewhere and buy tickets in person, that would be a blessing. But interpark is a pain for foreigners to use. You can't just use a credit card and pay on the website like Koreans can. You have to order it on interpark, and still make a trip to a bank and do a money transfer. Someone I work with paid for a concert like this a few months ago and she said it was a pain. I mean, what is the point of buying on intrpark, but you still can't pay on interpark? The whole point is avoiding the bank. I was totally surprised last year that a guy I know was able to pay for Cirque du Soleil tickets in person. He got mine and some other people's for us. Bless him.
