So I really don't want to go back to Canada when my contract ends. I'll have been here for two years without having gone home and if I can avoid going home for another year I'll be all that more happy. My parents don't want me to come home either but we all would really like to see each other, so we started to discuss bringing them here for a couple of weeks during one of my vacations.
After some research my mum informed me that the cheapest return tickets she could find online were $2,327CDN. After contacting a couple of travel agencies, she found the same thing. That is the price for one person from Nova Scotia to here.
I thought it would be quite a bit cheaper than that in all honesty. Are these standard rates or are they ridiculous? I'm no plane ticket fashinista, but where should I go to try and find cheaper tickets for them?
Thanks. |

honestly, I have run across the same price problem. I used cheaptickets.com last time I traveled, bought them two months in advanced (albeit during summer tourist season but on weekdays) and still spent 1600 USD from Dallas to Seoul one way round. Sorry.
I have heard it can be cheaper to buy tickets from a Korean website but no luck in finding any specifics. |
