or is it easier to just make the trip to yongsan?

They wouldn't work anyway if your PS2 isn't modded

You'd have more luck trying to find a PS2 emulator.

First you need either a modchip or a swap disk, basically either one of those allows burned DVD games to be playable on the PS2. If you have any soldering skills then do the modchips, if not then do the swap disk (if going swap disk you may have to block some lasers so you can open the disk)

After you decided on your method, you then need a DVD burner. Make sure you pick the right DVDs to buy (be careful with crappy DVDs for their quality will make your disc reader die faster). Download the games you want (usually in .ISO format) and use a disc burning software like Nero Burning Rom and boom, you got games.

What he said.

Use Verbatiam or Sony discs.

Download imageburn: http://fileforum.betanews.com/download/ImgBurn/1128426215/1

install it.

Right click your game (usually .ISO file) and select "Burn with Imageburn)

Burn at 4 x speed

There is a website that lists which DVD's are good to use and which are not, I forgot what the link was, but I bought a 50 pack of Taido Yuden? which were the best in quality. So look into that if you got the money to spare, careful with Memorex (or should I say memosux?) crappy quality right there. You'll be surprised how much you can learn with a little bit of effort.

Persona 4, I wait for you.
