Combination of ant traps and bleaching their trails works great; however, they will never completely go away unless everyone in the building participates.

They took those little poison egg grains back home and everyone ate them. They must have all died.

Worked for my wife!

I see they have a few other brands, too:

Print that page out from the link I provided and take it to a pharmacy down the street. You can always order it from G-market in English, too. Quicker to go down the street, though.

Thanks so much. They're getting a little out of control now, so I'm glad to have found that.

How exactly does ordering from GMarket work, in terms of shipping/delivery, etc?

A bump with our ant solution:

We had a super-highway of little black ants last week. They came out of the walls and found a bunch of sweet stuff in the cupboards. They were all over the counters, the stove and the floor as well.

We used boric acid and it worked wonders. Boric acid (boong-san) is available at the pharmacy for less than 1000 won. Mix with sugar and water according to these directions. We also threw out the honey and other things that attracted them in the first place, spent an hour wiping down the kitchen, and two days later there were only one or two stragglers left.

Spray some lemon juice (the Crazy lemon stuff you can find in Emart or Homeplus, the presqueezed juice in a plastic bottle) on the areas affected. Leave it sit/dry for a day or two, then clean it up. That also does the trick very well w/out any nasty chems.

I have a similar problem but the insects look like little beetles. They are coming from the closet with A/C unit in there. They usually dont make it far but every day i have to vacuum or clean up there carcasses. Any ideas on how to get rid of these?

Keep all food in tightly closed Tupperware, jars, or in the fridge. Keep everything, including spices, sugar, coffee, and pet foods locked up. Wash your dishes immediately and take out your trash everyday. Ants tend to not come in your house if you don't have any food they can get to. Get a couple dozen ant hotels and place them along the base boards and in the ant marching lines. Get some of the RAID ant killer in the purple can and spray them whenever you see them.
